Kathy Broska is a corporate communication leader with proven success in collaborating with C-suite executives to drive business results. An experienced change agent, she has played a key role in helping global organizations successfully communicate during mission-critical events, ranging from financial transactions such as IPOs and mergers & acquisitions, to internal culture changes driven by leadership transitions or major human resources initiatives.
In her first book, deliberate, Kathy makes the leap from business writer and communication strategist to author. Through lessons learned during an overwhelming season of her consulting career, God ignited her passion to break the pattern of busyness so prevalent in our culture, and ultimately share her experiences in hopes of helping others to do the same.
As a self-professed recovering perfectionist, Kathy has learned to refocus on what matters, release what doesn’t, and find restoration in the only thing that truly satisfies: doing life with Jesus. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her husband and snuggling with their Golden Retriever. She doesn’t do well at sitting still and has a healthy weakness for green juices, mountain sports, and the exploration of both new and familiar places.
[Kathy earned a Master of Arts in Business Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from William Jewell College.]
